POSITION SUMMARY:

The uAspire Partnerships Coordinator will play an integral support function in coordinating and communicating internally and externally to ensure uAspire is communicating early and often with all of uAspire’s Advising partners, sharing uAspire’s knowledge and expertise, and meeting the needs of our students through these critical partnerships.

The successful candidate is organized and detail-oriented, a strong collaborator and communicator, and easily creates and implements systems to ensure that we communicate effectively.

The Partnerships Coordinator serves as a pivotal member of the Advising Team and is responsible for the communication, logistics, and research related to advising partnerships and ensuring uAspire is holding ourselves to high-quality support and communication with partners across the country. The Partnerships Coordinator reports to the Vice President of Strategy for Advising Partnerships and is critical to the organization’s strategic growth and success.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Partner and Advising Department Coordination:

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with uAspire advising staff and external advising partners for start, middle, and end-of-year meetings.
  • Work with the Advising Leadership Team to create an agenda, prepare relevant data, and slides, and coordinate with advisors and managers in preparation for advising partner meetings.
  • Maintain and track advising partner data, key dates,  and communication in Salesforce and partner calendars. 
  • Work with advising managers and advisors, as well as other CBO’s to help coordinate events for family and community engagement. 
 

Communication Liasion:

  • Coordinate with the Advising Leadership Team and uAspire’s Marketing and Communications team to create, develop, and implement communication tools for ongoing advising partner communication.
  • Coordinate with uAspire’s Marketing and Communications team to create marketing materials for large-scale advising events and to share updates on social media about uAspire’s advising work.
  • Support the Advising Department and coordinate with Marketing and Communications to ensure uAspire’s brand is represented on partner websites and to increase brand visibility.
 

Partner Research and Projects: 

  • Support VP of Strategy for Advising Partnerships with project planning deadlines and awareness of necessary MOU/contract/data sharing renewals so that uAspire delivers advising services with the data and systems needed to perform high-quality advising.
  • Research key stakeholders in advising regions to broaden uAspire brand recognition to support uAspire’s reach and impact as we implement growth and strategic priorities with an economic mobility focus.

Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Postsecondary degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Commitment to working and participating in an organization dedicated to ensuring a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment and interest in building upon that culture.
  • Strong project coordination, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive environment.
  • Experience with online, app, or text-based communications, and willingness to work through the challenges that come with tech innovation and virtual advising.
  • Experience working with and motivating diverse college-aged populations including students who are Pell-eligible (low/moderate income), students of color, and the first in their families to attend college.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, non-profit setting is preferred.
  • Experience or desire to learn relevant student-facing marketing strategies with an emphasis on social media strategy and digital marketing
  • Creative and resourceful problem solver.
  • Advanced organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in an efficient, deadline-focused, and effective manner.
  • Proactive attitude, out-of-the-box thinking, and a good sense of humor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some early mornings, regular evening events, and some weekends.
 

ANTICIPATED START DATE: July 8, 2024
COMPENSATION: $51,100 - $54,950
GRADE: II 
STATUS: Exempt, full time
